I really enjoyed this book! This is such a summer beach/holiday read, it is a staple romantic comedy! It also has serious moments that act as a dichotomy to the romance in this book which I felt added an important amount of depth to One Italian Summer. Kerri Stainton has such a charming style
of writing and has crafted so many lovable characters. I loved the representation of the sisterly bond between Milly, Elyse and Leonie. They are both brought together and torn apart after the loss of their beloved father. Also I really liked Luke as the romantic interest, he was very suave and likeable and I enjoyed watching the relationship develop. The Italian setting was so beautiful, I felt as though I was transported to Rome and I was walking through the sunkissed cobbled streets. One criticism of the book that I have is I don’t love the cover - I prefer illustrated covers rather than covers with photos but that is very small. It is such an ideal summer read!
