The writing style seems to be targeted at a teenage or a young adult audience. It is very addicting and I would totally recommend this to my friends as I will imagine them reading this and being very interested in this plot and I feel like the characters portray the usual family love. With the loss of a father figure, Milly has to go to Rome a place very loved by her deceased father, Where she has to attend her aunt's wedding but she along with her family is not yet accustomed to the idea of not having a special someone with them.
