A burning house on the cover catches attention and would make me pick the book up to find out more.

This has the makings of a good thriller and had me hooked as soon as I'd read the first few pages.

Tiffany is on her way to a first date. We assume that her previous partner had been stalking her and parking outside her flat and she wanted to move on and find someone new.

She'd made an online date and all she knows is that the photo of the man she is to meet doesn't thrill her too much but he was acceptable and blonde and she was looking forward to meeting him.

She meets the man she knows as Tobes in a bar and they recognise each other from shared photographs online they then go on to share a taxi to what she believes is a place to go for a drink.

Strangely the taxi driver calls him Sam and he quickly produces a hip flask for them to share a drink en route to their venue and that's the last Tiffany knows until she is admitted to The Royal London Hospital and in a coma.

The beginning of this book has everything to make me want to read the whole thing and find out exactly who this strange blonde man really is.
