Front cover is a little misleading
There was no fire, in no house as the front cover suggests.
Good story line, lots of twists and turns with two main plots running alongside eachother, with dangerous outcomes.
Such a shame Solomon didn't follow his heart at the end but I guess this book isn't a typical happily ever after story!
I liked how as a reader we were kept in suspense throughout the story, finding out the back stories to the characters so that we could relate to them easier. Solomon facing his fears head on but then crumbling back into the shadows at the end. He is a man of mystery, a very intelligent person on the inside but with features of a monster on the outside.
Overall a nice read, a quick page turner. The ending has been left open for possible sequels to happen.
