Perfect Match is a new thriller from the author DB Thorne. It is a follow up to the book Troll which I have not read. It follows Solomon has he works to undercover a serial killer who is stalking and murdering women via a dating app. Solomon’s sister is a victim and of course this prompts him to search for justice. It had the makings of a great book but I felt the entire time I was missing something.
I find thrillers are a major guilty pleasure for me, I enjoy them very occasionally and the gritty the better but this one fell a bit short of what I’d call gritty and dark. It had a good premise and a good plot line but it kind of missed the mark for me. Not a terrible book but certainly not one to rave about either.
