The book gets you almost from the first page. There is an element of wait, what happened? and it continues as the pages go on. It made me want to carry on reading and find out what would happen next for the main character and what exactly she was going to be able to do with this luggage.
I'm not sure if the cover does it justice. It is a bit too pink. I would think it was about some kind of beauty contest or a teen fiction kind of novel. Whereas from the extract, I feel there is more to it than that.
