Despite being only a couple of chapters in, it quickly became clear that the main character Caro, was going to be a great character to get behind. Written in the first person, it comes across as a stream of consciousness, which reflects Caro’s mental state as she veers from point to point, issue to issue. I really want to read more and find out whether she gets revenge, or at least her children back.
