I absolutely loved this book in its entirety, not once did I want to put it down.
Caroline revenge story is gripping and the authors use of direct address as if we were Jack at the start of the book beautifully faded out towards the end as the Caroline became less and less attached. Beautifully done.
However this book isn't all about reading a wonderfully fulfilling revenge story it also tells the reader something. Revenge is dangerous. And Caroline proves that to us as well as that revenge isn't necessary and that whatever you do if you've ever been hurt or abused you can always pull through and make something for yourself.
This book also tells us not to believe everything at face value as Caroline did that we should question and investigate it.
And at the end of the day this book isn't just a beautifully dark story of revenge it's one of hope for everyone no matter our grievances.
