I love a crime story and anything that involves a mystery and this book was along those lines but with a more girly chick lit kind of a twist.
Right from the start I was fully hooked, siding with the main character and developing an extreme hatred for her cheating ex husband and father of the two children that have been taken off her. I literally couldn't stop reading.
As the story progressed, I enjoyed trying to predict what each of them in the failed relationship would do next to try to wind up and incriminate the other. The psychological games and devious tricks kept me on the edge of my seat and had to power through to find out whether the main character got the happy ending she hoped for.
