I received this book from the publisher via Readers First in exchange for an honest review. Thanks goes out to the author and publicity team for the copy and this in no way affects my opinion of the book.

Perfect Ten is a thriller suspense crime fiction novel from Jacqueline Ward. It follows the story of Caroline Atkinson who is a powerless and angry women with a delight for vengeance. She has lost everything to her estranged husband and then randomly one day his luggage arrives with her and she uses what she finds - his diary - to plot her revenge. Very pyscho-girlfriend sounding and intriguing I’m sure, but the reality left me feeling a bit disappointed.

I found the story to be a bit dull, Caroline was to me and unlikable character and so it made sympathetic feelings towards her difficult. I couldn’t get on board with her revenge scheme because I didn’t like her, and I didn’t like her husband either so I wasn’t on the side of the supposed victim. It was just a book full of horrible people and it ruined it for me to be honest.
