Wow. What an incredible read. After reading the first impression I was unsure of how I felt about the plot of the book. It seemed so surreal that somebody would actually keep a journal of their infidelity, but I thought I'd give the book a chance. So glad I did. Caroline, the main character, is very well developed and believable as a character. Although this did remind me of past experiences of emotional abuse, her thought patterns were perfectly fitted for her experiences. The style of writing was great, it read almost as a monologue of Caroline's life. The chapters were short and snappy, keeping me interested all the way through. There are also a lot of twists and turns. One second you think you know what to expect, the next you're completely thrown off. All in all an excellent book, I hope to see many more works from this author in the future!
