This is the first book by Jacqueline Ward that I have read and she has a very engaging writing style. "Perfect Ten" was recommended to me as a result of being a fan of C.J. Skuse's "Sweetpea" and there are certainly some parallels between the books. Both feature intelligent, strong-minded, vengeful females as the main character and both are entertainingly written. "Perfect Ten" doesn't have the same level of dark, sardonic humour that is so evident in "Sweetpea", but it is still a book that I would heartily recommend.
