This book is written in language which is easy to read. It takes you straight into the action and simply paints a picture of what has happened to the leading character. You can feel her frustration and anger in the manner the book has been written. It grabs your interest straight away to want to know what has happened before and what her ex husband has done and kept secret from her. At the end of the chapter you immediately want to carry on reading to find out more about the past and the exploits of the ex husband. You instantly take a dislike to the character of the ex husband and feel empathy with the main character. I can relate to her current situation being a divorcee and a single mother myself.
