I really got into this book as soon as I started it.
I was straight away drawn in by the revenge on a cheating husband.
The main character Caroline loses the plot and at night is an alcoholic shopaholic but by day she is sober and carefully considers her work. I enjoyed seeing her get revenge on Jack but felt very sorry for the other people who suffered along the way.
Jack is the reason for her every act and decision.
Then came the twist!
I was expecting one but not this!
This book takes the reader on a carefully crafted journey through the psychological aftermath of Caroline and jacks toxic marriage and the emotional fall-out caroline experienced.
