Okay, so, to be perfectly honest I felt that this book wasn't particularly original, but it was certainly still enjoyable. It was well written and had me curious enough to keep turning the pages, but similar concepts have been done before and I had been hoping for a little more originality. No matter, I still enjoyed it, but I will also continue my hunt for a book in this genre that is finally able to surprise me. I did like that the main character isn't someone we're wholly sympathetic with, since she is manipulative and conniving one minute, while seeming genuinely wounded and upset the next - made for a more exciting read that way. Truth is though, there isn't a whole lot about this book thats memorable. Apologies. I did enjoy it, I was just hoping for better.
