I love a psychological thriller and I'm always keen to read debut publications as there has been a lot of good ones about in recent years. The book is based around Caroline and her quest to plot revenge on her husband and his affairs. The writing style is sort of like a conversation and took a while to get used to but I like the style in the end as it worked well. However after getting about half way through the book I'll admit I did tend to get a bit bored as the plot became a bit far fetched and complicated / confusing and I really didn't like the over use of the F word. I'm not prudish with regards to language at all but I felt it was just unnecessary and the writing would have been just as good without so much of it! The book was easy to read and would make a good holiday read and I did like the god twist at the end.
