Almost a Perfect Ten. This book arrived yesterday. I opened it to read the first chapter and was still reading it an hour later.
Caroline has lost everything. Her marriage , her husband and her children. When her husband's luggage arrives by mistake she takes a bag containing his diary. The diary documents all his infidelities.,which gives Caroline the means to extract revenge and halt the downward spiral she has fallen into.
Caroline is certainly not a likeable character and some of her actions are extreme, but the reader feel sympathy for her.
The characters are well drawn and well rounded. The book grabs you from the first page and doesn't let go. The ending is unexpected but satisfying.
This is a thriller with a dark theme which is well worth reading.
