What a strange beginning. From the all over the place capitalisation, to the narrator whose matter of fact delivery and deference to their skeleton neighbours disturbs, this story begs us to dive in further and uncover the mystery. I love it when things don't make sense at the start, as all the fun goes into unpicking all the little threads.
