Captivating and gorgeously written.

My first impression of Piranesi is that it is overwhelmingly unique. The premise has a lot of promise and is captivating right from the start. The writing is beautiful, rich in description and compelling - it pulls you along and lets you drift into this world instantly. This book definitely holds a lot of promise and the extract leaves me wanting more right away!
