The book begins describing the surroundings in detail allowing me to picture it in my head. Although we seem to be getting a lot of information, the book gives off an eerie vibe as we don't really know what's happening or where the story is going, but as it progresses we get introduced to the narrator and we slowly get into the world building and we sort of get an idea of the character. It's written in a way where the book is giving you an account of what's going on, as if it's collecting evidence which seems to coincide with the character as he's a scientist. Also,it's as though the narrator is writing to fill a void of his loneliness by breaking the 4th wall. Though this isn't the normal genre that I would get into, It'll be interesting to read where the story is going and what will happen.
