I found this first impression a bit weird to read, if I'm entirely honest. I felt like I didn't really have a clue what was going in this world - a bit like Piranesi. I think that this is one of those books where you just have to go with it, and hopefully things become clearer. The writing reads well, and I'd be happy to make discoveries with Piranesi. The cover is quite gothic, which is my kind of thing.
