Fans of Alice in Wonderland and The Starless Sea will adore this one!

I am obsessed with this read! It is utterly bizarre but completely enthralling. The House is a beautiful invention, a labyrinth of puzzles and magical occurrences - reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland. I’m someone who adores my solitude (I’m happiest when I’m sat reading!) and this story contemplates whether Piranesi is comfortable in his solitude amongst the twisted maze of the House. It explores themes of sanity, manipulation and magic. Whilst the magic isn't fully apparent from the first page, it is in every word written. It's such beautiful writing and the story only evolves into magic as you read on further. Piranesi is a wonderful, innocent soul and I would love to read more about him! Overall, a stunning and captivating story. Fans of Alice in Wonderland and The Starless Sea will adore this one!
