I'll be honest I saw this book all over Tik Tok and it kept getting recommended to me, I was sceptical at first. Normally something that is so hyped up struggles to deliver but Piranesi definitely delivers!
The writing is so descriptive and poetic and is very much a book about the joy and art of storytelling. The book is complex and intricate and could be challenging to the reader but it is so worth it! The story is told through a number of different diary entries.
Amazing world-building, and normally I don't read this style of book but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Such an intricate narrative and I have never read a book like it and cannot recommend this book enough. The hype is definitely worth it and you will not understand how amazing this book is until you have read it for yourself. I now understand everyone who has told me to read this book.
