At first, I thought this book was going to be a bit boring, I didn't get the meaning of the title and I thought the cover was quite strange. I thought it was going to be boring because it was just about a person living in a house with a lot of halls full of statues. But this book took me by surprise.

It turned out to be a captivating story. It has impressive worldbuilding, engaging characters, and excellent storytelling. It's a definitely unique and enjoyable read.

There are birds and fish and remains of thirteen humans, and two living ones - the Other, a man who visits our narrator for appointments twice a week on the search for mysterious Knowledge, a man clearly of the world that is similar to our own, and our narrator who the Other refers to as Piranesi, although “Piranesi” knows that it’s not his name. There are also a lot of skeletons and Piranesi brings them food and takes care of them, even though he knows they're dead.

Well, you can just relax and let this book make you get lost in its world.
I definitely recommend this book to others!
