Put me in a reading slump

Honestly words can't explain how conflicted I am with this book. My attention span is short and long books are usually the death of me but I was excited for this book. This book has like 800 pages (I cant really remember the number) but truly, it just put me into a reading slump. Its such a good book honestly but sadly for me it wasn't what I like. I could understand what the author was trying to convey but my brain just couldn't get into it which is normal for me. Being a student and all, long books do take up much more of my time and it takes me a long while to finish. However, I will recommend it to my book friends because it is rather lovely and I know some of my other book friends may love this type of writing style. I will try again in the future when I do have any spare time to see if my opinion of this book does change but for the time being, it is a no from me for now.
