Based on the front cover alone if I was being completely honest I wouldn’t have picked this book up. It is rather plain and not the book that matches it’s fantastic blurb. Luckily enough I’ve heard plenty of rave reviews about it on Instagram and tick tock so I didn’t miss out on a sublime read.
The book is wonderfully written and draws you in from the very beginning. The characterisation is unique and wonderful and the concept of the story is a refreshing change from a lot of the books that are out there already. The book is a little strange in parts and I was often wondering what on earth was happening but towards the end everything started to tie together and I knew exactly where I was and what was going on. This was one of my favourite reads from last year and i would recommend it to anyone even if on first impression it isn’t your usual type of book.
