Playgroups and Prosecco is an easy and enjoyable book told in journal form about a single mum finally going out and trying to live her life.

I'm not a mum so I can't say whether it's relatable enough but it feels real while remaining entertaining. It featured a good cast of characters and you feel for most of them - just not the weird tinder dates. If you're looking for a book with romance, this isn't one for you. Frankie dates but it's far from the main focus which was a refreshing treat. The book has a strong focus on friendship and family and those were the bits that kept me reading more than the dates. Not to mention the fact that I love that Frankie and Ian were still such good friends and that's all they were even after being married. It was good to see.

This book is available now and will definitely be a good read if you're looking for a light read for the upcoming summer!
