This was a really good fun book, following a year in the life of single mum Frankie.
Taking the form of a series of diary entries, with Bridget Jones style counts at the start of some days, we get travel through Frankie's life, looking at her relationship with her ex-husband, a change of jobs, and making some new best friends.
The diary entries vary in length, and the book moves along at a good pace. There were plenty of humerous moments along the way, several of which as a parent really rang true!
It was nice to read about a relationship with an ex which wasn't bad, and where they were able to move on, and go back to being friends.
I'd like to see a sequal and find out what the next chapter in Frankie's life holds.
