I was looking forward to starting this book as it sounded like a fun and different read to what I'd usually pick. Overall this book was a good read. Humorous in many places, but for me personally, it was a slow starter. Reading some of the reviews, it says they were laughing from page one, I wouldn't say it did for me. First part of book, whilst funny in places, I can't say that it gripped me so much, I didn't want to put the book down. There are elements in the book I'm sure most of us ladies can relate to, with Frankie and everything she goes through throughout. I found this book got better the more I got into the book. Great start for a debut novel, I would definitely be interested in reading any new books by Jo Middleton.
