This book is just the thing when you are in need of a good laugh. It is hilarious almost from the start and certain laugh out loud moments gained me some weird stares on the train as I sat reading this book.
The author places you right at the forefront of the book - almost as if you are sat right in the same room as the characters experiencing for yourself everything they do.
This book is definately the "mis" adventures of a single mum. The antics of Frankie who is a a mum to both a young child and a teenager screams mayhem at you. The author has constructed this book as if it is a diary and page by page, day by day as the year progresses you live Frankie's life in all it's forms. A brilliant book - one warning- when you start it you will not want too put it down
