I nearly didn't request this book as I thought it would be just another chick lit book about a scrummy mummy having an affair. I was so wrong! The cover is as bright and lively just like the story. Frankie is a recently divorced mum with 2 girls, one 3 one 14. Her ex husband remains her best friend and they share the child care amicably.
Frankie makes a couple of friends at playgroup,and they set up an alternative playgroup.
I love the characters in this book. They are all well drawn. The children are a delight and Jess is laugh out loud funny. I highly recommend this book and can't wait for the sequel to find out what happens next. Please try this book. It's not just aimed at young women. Anyone can read and enjoy it.
