We all have to try something different and this book was very different for me. Frankie is a single mum who's life is centred around her two daughters, along with her personal and working life, it all leads to the ups and owns that she has to cope with in her daily life. It is very easy to read and I could relate to many of the situations and views in the book and I did find myself giggling at times. The novelty for me did wear off after a while and it became a little mundane and predictable. I also had a problem with the book being laid out in diary form and I found myself skipping some of the shorter entries and the text in italics near the date. However I did find the book idea for reading in an airport departure lounge recently, easy to pick up and put down when necessary.
