I really enjoyed this book. The journal/diary style really appealed to me and obviously takes its inspiration from Bridget Jones except that this time cigarettes have been replace with a yummy Jaffa cake or five. It’s a guilt free way of delving into someones inner thoughts without actually reading your best friend’s diary.

As a mum of four I really related to Frankie’s character probably more than I would like to admit. At points in the book it was like it was me talking which I loved. This book would appeal to the modern woman even if she doesn’t have children as it deals with issues we all have faced in the workplace, relationships or in the world of online dating.

Some laugh out loud funny moments and I was really disappointed when I got to the end of the book as I just wanted to keep reading and find out so much more about what happens to Frankie next.
