Donnelly has a really accessible writing style that makes it easy to get into this book. I like that she starts with action to hook the reader. The beginning was quite dark so I'll be interested to see if the rest of the story gets darker still as she has built up tension well with references to the real villain. This seems like a unique interesting take on Snow White and I'd like to read more.
