I was sucked into the fairy tale world of Poisoned immediately, escaping to a distant land where vicious queens rule with an iron fist and princesses are taught to marry well in order to succeed. Sadly, this could be a metaphor for the world we are living in even now and I hope to see the feminist angle shine as the book goes on.

The switch in narrative gives an edge to the story as seen through the eyes of the huntsman. His perspective tells of a lurking danger, an unseen evil of which I am desperate to hear more.
