I really enjoyed Stepsister so was very excited to find there was a second retelling coming out.
The prologue is thrilling and really captured me, I couldn't wait to read more. Who is this mystery villain the huntsman is describing? I also really want to know more about the Princess, how she manages this false persona, pretending to be someone else so the Queen and the rest of the court don't see her weaknesses.
I liked how some sections were narrated by someone else, I think the huntsman again. Having occasional POVs of others such as the Queen make the book more interesting. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the book.
