Intriguing Twist on a Classic Fairytale
I found this first impression quite an easy read, and a lot less Disney-esque than the author's previous reworked fairytale.
Sophie seems to be a likeable character (as one would expect...), having already shown a kindness to a couple of animals, which will no doubt come back to help her out later down the line. The step-mother is suitably wicked too.
This is one fairytale reworking that I think I'd be happy to read.
