If there is one thing I can't resist, it's a fairytale/disney retelling, and this did not disappoint!
The opening 'prologue' was written so beautifully it was like poetry, and I really enjoyed how parts of it were written almost in conversation with the reader. Different writing styles definitely hold my attention and keep me interested. I can't quite figure out what the twist to this tale is yet, but I'm dying to find out!
