How to start? This was amazing and from the very start had caught my eye. First off, the cover is brilliant, very captivating. Personally, I am not the biggest fan of re-tellings. But the enticing twist in this amazingly written re-telling of Snow White is just so enthralling and just makes you want to read on. what had me hooked at the start though was the very captivating prologue. The cover itself is simple yet speaks the genre, speaks the book and the characters. Simple yet very bewitching. the shattered apple is almost connected to the plot metaphorically. The characters are very charming and quite funny. I love the author's style of writing, so smooth and eloquent. After reading a snippet of this amazing book, I really have to give another go at reading re-tellings, only if they're as good as this book though. this sounds like an amazing fantasy novel and I cannot wait to get my hands on the actual book!
