I don't think I have enough words to describe this book because I am completely and utterly shocked by it. At first, what initially intrigued me to read this book was the cover, commenting it as stunning is just not enough, its gorgeous and the shattered apple is really connected to a plot metaphorically. I feel like it fits the book perfectly. Now moving on to the characters, the main character is a badass and as she should, I loved her but also loved the villains and the stepmother. As a child, I grew up loving the fairytale of snow white and this retelling only made my love for it grow. The action was thrilling and nerve-racking, to say the least. I was expecting less than I was given which really contributed to my shock when I read that. If you want to read a retelling that isn't going to ruin the original book for you this is the book you are looking for. I recommend it one hundred percent.
