Fairytale retellings are always good fun, and it was a delight to read a strong Snow White inspired story. Far from the Disney story the characters and plot are well rounded within the story.
It was difficult to put the book down as it was fast paced and raced on quickly, there was never a dull moment. The characters were well developed and felt well rounded meaning there wasn’t any flat 2 - d characters.
The ending did start to feel a little rushed though due to this fast pace and as the book is fairly short it felt like the ending was racing to wrap everything up. This would be my only negative point.
I highly recommend the other books by this author too, their fairytale retellings involve strong female characters, exciting plot points and fast paced storylines making them very hard to put down. I will be keeping my eyes peeled for a new book by the author!
