I really loved the concept of this story, it was brilliant. This book started out interesting and was filled with plot twists and adventure the whole way through. I love stories with people having two faces where one was likable but deep down they have other intentions, the wicked stepmother was truly wicked and an amazing example of this. She was constantly disgusted by Sophie's kindness and wanted to be the kindest and the best. The seven dwarfs in this story were cool and funny with different personalities which allowed the reader to connect to each of them individually. I like this retelling of the adventures of Snow White's deep sleep. Her adventures taught her many life lessons and gave her the opportunity to act with her own beliefs. This retelling also showed a different side of fairy tales where the female heroine was an amazing icon.
