The cover is brilliant and was definitely the reason I clicked on this story, and I am so glad I did. This book had me gripped from the prologue! It is a beautifully written retelling of the classic Snow-White story that you just can’t miss. The huntsman narrative being told as if he was dead, at the start of the book, was a cool touch and a great way to add new perspectives into this story. Introducing a villain in the first chapters of a book is an incredible method to get a reader hooked from the start, especially if it the huntsman who is revealing himself as such ‘villain’! I also really enjoyed the idea that Snow-White herself was not so much a damsel in distress, but a strong character, it is a marvelous way to flip the original narrative of the fairy-tale. This is definitely making its way onto my TBR as I can’t wait to read the full story!!
