I read the first few chapters to this book and was hooked by the prologue alone. It was so exciting to read and immediately grabbed my attention. In chapter 1 it really helped introduce the characters in a way that felt natural, and not forced. You got a feel for some of the personalities of the main characters early on.
In the next few chapters, it was drawing an amazing world and colouring it in at the same time. I quickly understood how the society of this world worked, at least for the royals. I also got a feel for what it must be like to live as a royal or at least apart of their court.
I think that this book has great potential and it really seems to be well written. I love the writing style as it is very immersive. You also get a lot of information and a good feel for the world while not having the chapters super long. This is a massive bonus for me.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves fairy tales and those who love to be immersed in a whole new world.
