When I first saw the cover of the book, I knew exactly where it had been inspired from. The visual of the book was one that I knew I would be immensely proud to have on my bookshelf. I read the description that revealed it was a feminist story, almost screamed in excitement and couldn't wait to read it. Sure enough, the story lived up to its feminist label all throughout with strong messages and an amazing storyline that made me struggle to stop reading. I thought that knowing the original plot would give me an advantage with understanding the storyline of this book but I can say with confidence that I would have enjoyed it just as much with no prior knowledge on Snow White.
Each sentence, paragraph and chapter held an immense amount of detail, even in the simplest of sentences, that helped tell the story to an extent that had me captivated and wanting to read on that little bit more to find out what happens next.
