I loved ‘Poisoned’ so much. It was a brilliant retelling of the classic fairytale ‘Snow white and the seven dwarves’. This book was so gripping that I honestly just couldn’t put in down. This book was written beautifully and was one of the best retellings i have ever read. ‘Poisoned’ had just the right amount of feminism in it too which i believe in turn put a very modern and truthful twist on the classic fairy tale story. The characters were so relatable and I felt like I was in Sophie’s position the entire time. I honestly can’t explain how much I loved this book, the fantastic writing and the detailed characters and settings. ‘Poison led’ was written so well that I could almost see a film in my minds eye and felt like I was teleported into the book each time I picked it up. Honestly I would really recommend this book if you enjoyed the lunar chronicles.
