This is a twisted retelling of the classic fairytale of Snow White and the huntsman, it seems to be written with a bit more of a dark and cloying outline that makes it more suited to young adult readers. The tone of the book is set quickly with such A descriptive Beginning, a sense of mystery is built in the prologue and that drew me in enough to want to continue reading on. There seems to be a morally grey area in regard to the huntsman and his actions and it makes for an interesting character to unravel, it leads the reader to believe there are characters pulling the strings (I’m assuming the queen?) which could make for a fabulous plot throughout the book. So far it’s engaging and full of interesting little details that set the scene for the book. I would be very keen to continue reading this book as I feel like there will be a few plot twists throughout the following chapters.
