This is a modern day version of Snow White, I love that it was a fairytale but like all fairytales there is a message to be told which is very appropriate for these times, where there are good people out there that help you just because they can.
The dark twist with the mirror which I won’t spoil but is very true and again shows us that we don’t have to believe it because someone has told us that is who we are, we have the power to change our path in life.
This is great story as we all know the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs however this is a version where Snow White doesn’t wait for the Prince to save her as she learns through the journey and kindness that is shown to her along the way, that Sophie can save herself and also save the world too.
I would recommend this book to anyone as it’s messages can be taken into our own lives, and it’s a strong positive message. Really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to get the next book, Stepsister.
