When I first opened up the book I was shocked I never knew that a book could be so hooking, so intriguing. It was a beautiful cover I couldn't resist it. The genre was right up my alley and I loved the twist it gave to the original Snow White story. I enjoyed the fact that they took turns narrating the story and it was mainly the huntsman talking from his POV. Which I totally didn't expect anyways. I just saw the title 'Poisoned' and straight away I knew I'd fall in love with the book. Why did the queen order Sophie to be killed by the huntsman. It really showed the struggle of women and the problem of sexism. I was gripped by page 1. I never expected murder to be on the first page! I always thought the stepmother was evil but I was told that this was a twisted fairy tale. And I guess the Queen was right, 'Do you now see the havoc kindness wreaks?' 10/10 I totally recommend this book. I can't wait to read the rest!
