This wasn’t as good as Stepsister, but absolutely still enjoyable. It was dark and a little twisted and I really loved the take on Snow White. I definitely didn’t expect a lot of the plot points, which weren’t necessarily twists, but more reminiscent of the OG tale. I never would’ve given this a five star, but the reason I didn’t give it four was because I thought it was a little slow/boring at times, as well as the anticlimactic ending. The epilogue also served no purpose, and I would’ve much rather read something about Sophie years later. But overall the story and the details themselves were really well done, and I’d recommend it if you’re a fairytale lover, but perhaps not as much if you really enjoyed Stepsister.
